Based out of the beautiful town of Henley on Thames, Aura Creative is a full service marketing agency working with both B2B and B2C clients.

Working closely with head of design I work across a broad range of marketing materials for both print and digital. Sectors include professional bodies, branding, education, recruitment and member comms, events and exhibitions.


PORTERHOUSE MEDICAL, READING | DEC 2014 – MAR 2016 | GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Established in 2002, Porterhouse medical is a medical communications agency that works with clients across the globe to generate creative and intelligent materials for both print and digital. 

My job as a Creative  involves liaising with the company’s medical writers and account managers to design meeting materials and presentations that showcase data and support key objectives. In addition to this I also organise the layout of copy, brand management, biological illustrations and develop new concepts for educational programmes.


BRIDGE INNOVATE, CHATTANOOGA TN | FEB 2014 – JUL 2014 | PROJECT MANAGER

Bridge Innovate is a global team of executive and business management consultants who help leaders produce change and innovation from within their organisations.

As project manager with Bridge Innovate I managed the startup, design and development of Bright Spark which was launched in June 2013 with a kick off workshop. The program seeks to empower students and teachers through Design Thinking and provides tools to equip people to lead their own workshops. Bright Spark continues to grow with programs being held in schools across Chattanooga and my involvement with them, as a freelance graphic designer, also continues.

Widgets & Stone is an award-winning design studio which assists organisations in building and developing brands, products, services, environments and experiences. 

Whilst working at Widgets & Stone I worked on a variety of projects from start to finish. These included brand identity, packaging, magazine layout, print ads, billboards, brochures and trade show materials.


THE TARTAN, LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN GA | MAY 2012 – MAY 2013 | EDITOR IN CHIEF

The Tartan is the Covenant College student yearbook. It records aspects of student life at Covenant in creative and memorable ways that can be passed down to future generations.

My involvement with The Tartan was first as a Creative Editor from May 2011-12 where I designed the 112 page book and cover. I then went on to fill the role of Editor and Chief from May 2012-2013 where I managed a small team consisting of an assistant editor, writer, designer and photographers. My role included giving creative direction, liaising with printers, coordinating meetings and photoshoots to make sure everything was produced on time.


THE COMPANY LAB, CHATTANOOGA TN | AUG 2011 – DEC 2012 | GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

The Company Lab (Co.Lab) increases the viability of startups in Chattanooga by connecting entrepreneurs with expertise, resources and community. In doing so they help to create a more robust and dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem in Chattanooga.

During my two internships at Co.Lab (October 2011 - December 2011 and August 2012 - December 2012) I was involved in two of their main events, ‘48 Hour Launch’ (48HL) a weekend-long business startup experience and ‘Will This Float?’ (WTF?), an annual business pitch competition that showcases up-and-coming startup ideas in the Chattanooga area. For both events I assisted with developing branding materials, creating promotional items as well as staging and decoration for the events themselves.

RAGING WAVES WATERPARK, CHICAGO IL | MAR 2011 – AUG 2011 | RETAIL DESIGNER

As retail designer for Raging Waves, I worked closely with the park owners to design new products for the Summer 2011 season. My designs were then sold in the shop, where I also worked as the lead supervisor during the summer months.

At Covenant College, where I completed my undergraduate degree, it’s common to take on a number of different responsibilities on campus. These ‘work study’ placements each last the length of the academic year. 

MUSIC DEPARTMENT GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Here I produced a variety of advertising material for various musical events, including the Christmas concert and concert series. These materials differed in size and included brochures, programs, posters, flyers and billboards.

MISSIONS ALUMNI WEBSITE COORDINATOR
I maintained the Missions Alumni website and promoted around the college using a variety of mediums, working with missionaries and residence halls to connect them.

ATHLETIC SECRETARY
As secretary I completed general office and administrative work, such as data input, but was also responsible for communicating with students about working athletic games and posting schedules and promoting other events related to the department.


DENNY BROTHERS PRINTERS, BURY ST EDMUNDS | MAR 2007 – NOV 2008 | PRINT ASSISTANT

Whilst at Denny Brothers, I worked as a print and shop assistant. This role included plan and t-shirt printing, photocopying and binding, and general customer service work.
